In a large baking dish, combine the halved cherry tomatoes and olive oil. Mix well to coat the tomatoes with the oil.
Place the block of feta cheese in the center of the baking dish amongst the tomatoes. Drizzle the feta with a little extra olive oil and sprinkle with minced garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper.
Bake the dish in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the feta is golden and softened and the tomatoes are blistered.
Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Once the baking is complete, remove the dish from the oven. Using a fork, mash the feta cheese and mix it with the cherry tomatoes to create a creamy sauce.
Add the cooked pasta to the baking dish and toss everything together until the pasta is well-coated with the sauce.
Adjust seasoning as needed, adding red pepper flakes for extra heat if desired.
Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil leaves for added flavor and a burst of color.
