In a large heatproof pitcher, steep the black tea bags in boiling water for about 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
While the tea is cooling, blend the sliced peaches in a blender until smooth. If you prefer a chunkier texture, pulse them a bit less to retain some pieces.
Combine the peach puree, honey, and lemon juice in a separate bowl or pitcher, mixing well to dissolve the honey.
Once the tea has cooled, add the peach mixture to the tea and stir until evenly combined.
Pour in the cold water and refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the honey peach iced tea over the ice.
Garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves and, if desired, additional peach slices for a decorative touch.
