4 lobster tails (about 6 oz each)

1/2 cup unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 tablespoon fresh basil, finely chopped

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Using kitchen shears, cut the top of the lobster shells lengthwise down the middle, being careful not to cut the meat. Pull the shell apart slightly to expose the meat.

      In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

        Stir in the fresh parsley, basil, lemon juice, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix well and remove from heat.

          Place the lobster tails, cut-side up, on a baking dish. Generously spoon the garlic herb butter sauce over the meat, ensuring it’s well-coated.

            Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.

              Once done, broil the lobster tails for an additional 2-3 minutes to give them a nice golden finish. Keep a close eye during broiling to prevent burning.

                Remove from the oven, drizzle any remaining garlic herb butter on top before serving, and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
