Ingredients
1
package (15.25 oz)
Oreo cookies
8
oz
cream cheese, softened
1
cup
white chocolate chips
1
tablespoon
coconut oil
to taste
mini chocolate chips (for eyes)
to taste
edible black glitter or cocoa powder (optional for dusting)
Instructions
In a food processor, crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.
Add the softened cream cheese to the Oreo crumbs in the processor and blend until well combined and the mixture forms a dough-like consistency.
Use your hands to roll the Oreo mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Freeze the truffle balls for about 30 minutes, or until firm.
While they are chilling, melt the white chocolate chips with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Dip each frozen truffle into the melted white chocolate, shaking off any excess and making sure the entire truffle is coated.
Before the chocolate sets, place two mini chocolate chips on each truffle to form ghost eyes.
Optionally, sprinkle edible black glitter or cocoa powder on top for a spooky touch.
Allow the truffles to set at room temperature or refrigerate for about 15 minutes until the chocolate is firm.
Notes
Optional to dust with edible black glitter or cocoa powder for a spooky effect.
