Instructions
Crush the Oreos: Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until finely crushed. Alternatively, you can place them in a zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
Make the Base: In a medium bowl, mix the crushed Oreos with the melted butter until well combined. Reserve about 1 cup of this mixture for the topping.
Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until creamy. Gradually add in the powdered sugar and mix until smooth.
Fold in Whipped Topping: Gently fold in the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
Prepare the Pudding: In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and instant chocolate pudding mix for about 2 minutes until it thickens.
Combine Pudding and Cream Cheese: Carefully fold the chocolate pudding into the cream cheese mixture until smooth and combined.
Assemble the Cups: In serving cups or bowls, start layering by adding a layer of the Oreo crust mixture at the bottom. Follow with a layer of the chocolate pudding mixture. Repeat the layers until the cups are filled, ending with a layer of pudding on top.
Top with Toppings: Sprinkle the reserved Oreo crust mixture over each cup. Add a layer of edible soil or crushed graham crackers for added texture, and place a gummy worm on top for a fun, dirt effect!
Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set before serving.
