Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup chicken broth

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Marinate the Pork Chops: In a bowl, mix the minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture all over the pork chops. Allow them to marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature, or for up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for deeper flavor.

Sear the Chops: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork chops and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they develop a nice golden crust.

Add Broth and Simmer: After searing, add the chicken broth to the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom. Bring it to a gentle simmer.

Cook Through: Reduce the heat to medium-low and cover the skillet. Let the pork chops cook in the broth for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Finish with Butter and Lemon: Once cooked, remove the pork chops from the pan and let them rest. Stir in the butter and lemon juice into the broth, letting it melt and create a silky sauce.

Serve: Place the pork chops on a serving platter, drizzle with the garlic sauce from the skillet, and garnish with fresh parsley.
